The Brooks is a revival of a signature piece that I designed shortly after my beloved Mom Mom passed away at 96. I repurposed opals and diamonds from a brooch she had given me. I wear the trilogy as an homage to her style and memory, a nod to my three children, and my lucky number three. When my older daughter, Emery Jade, became a bat mitzvah I designed a pendant necklace for her using stones from the brooch which I intend to do for my other daughter as well. This piece is named for my son, (Sierra’s twin brother) Ashton Brooks.
